“La Beauté Est Dans La Rue” – “Beauty is in the streets”. The iconic poster produced by Atelier Populaire during the 1968 Paris protests. It crystallises the central message: that art, beauty and culture come from the streets and not the bourgeois institutions, and features the image of a brick-throwing protester.
